У KCAS відбувся перший випуск слухачів курсу “Основи української жестової мови” для захисниць і родин оборонців

         19 грудня 2025 року у KCAS відбувся перший випуск слухачів курсу з української жестової мови для захисниць і родин оборонців. Курс проходив на базі  Центру ветеранського розвитку KCAS та за підтримки Всеукраїнської профспілки захисників України.

         Навчальна програма тривала 2,5 місяці та налічувала 60 годин (2 кредити ЄКТС). Освітній процес забезпечували перекладачі жестової мови Коледжу - Оксана Терещенко, Ірина Сколотова та Лариса Бондаренко, які здійснили ґрунтовну теоретичну та практичну підготовку слухачок цього курсу.

         На підсумковому іспиті були присутні керівник Центру ветеранського розвитку KCAS Ігор Панченко та заступниця голови Всеукраїнської організації осіб з інвалідністю зі слуху “Українське товариство глухих” Тетяна Кривко. У межах заходу відбулося урочисте вручення сертифікатів, які засвідчують успішне опанування слухачками курсу “Основи української жестової мови”.

         Реалізація цього вкрай важливого проєкту стала кроком у розвитку інклюзивного середовища та підтримки захисниць і родин оборонців, сприяючи подоланню комунікаційних бар’єрів і зміцненню соціальної згуртованості. KCAS і надалі планує розширювати освітні ініціативи, спрямовані на доступність, інклюзивність, взаєморозуміння та підтримку спільнот, що роблять вагомий внесок у захист і відновлення України.

The first graduation of the course “Basics of Ukrainian Sign Language” for defenders and families of defenders took place at KCAS

On December 19, 2025, KCAS hosted the first graduation of students of the Ukrainian Sign Language course for defenders and families of defenders. The course was held at the KCAS Veteran Development Center and with the support of the All-Ukrainian Union of Defenders of Ukraine.

The training program lasted 2.5 months and consisted of 60 hours (2 ECTS credits). The educational process was provided by the College's sign language interpreters - Oksana Tereshchenko, Iryna Skolotova and Larysa Bondarenko, who provided thorough theoretical and practical training to the students of this course.

The final exam was attended by the head of the KCAS Veteran Development Center Ihor Panchenko and the deputy head of the All-Ukrainian organization of people with hearing disabilities "Ukrainian Society of the Deaf" Tetyana Kryvko. The event included a ceremonial presentation of certificates certifying the successful completion of the course “Basics of Ukrainian Sign Language”.

The implementation of this extremely important project was a step in the development of an inclusive environment and support for defenders and families of defenders, helping to overcome communication barriers and strengthen social cohesion. KCAS plans to further expand educational initiatives aimed at accessibility, inclusivity, mutual understanding and support for communities that make a significant contribution to the protection and restoration of Ukraine.
